Susan Manber
A native New Yorker born into a family of journalists, Sue grew up asking why?
An entrepreneur at heart, Sue helped found two start up agencies in the early days of the Internet and has deep health and wellness strategic brand building experience spanning leading companies and non-profits in virtually every category, from mental health and women’s health to oncology.
A rare cancer survivor, Sue is extremely proud to be able to combine her professional experience with her service as a patient advocate. She is dedicated to ensuring that radical inclusivity is at the heart of all the products, services, brands and campaigns she helps develop. That means collaborating with the data and scientific community, crafting insights, design and strategic partnerships, and engaging with patient advocacy groups across a range of therapeutic areas. Ultimately, her purpose is to use communications to save lives.
Sue is in demand as a speaker at Healthcare industry conferences and is frequently published, having been featured most recently at HLTH, in Ad Age and honored in the 2020 MM&M Hall of Femme/Women of Distinction, Reuters 2022 Patient Champion of the Year Award and 2024 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary. Sue also serves on the Wellness, Sleep and Circadian Network (WSCN) Board and as a patient advocate for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines (NCCN).
Sue lives in the Hudson Valley and is the proud mom of Max and Sarina.
