JORDY
Through dynamic, diverse, and diaristic songwriting, JORDY amplifies the back-and-forth of his internal conversation as loudly as possible, penning plainspoken lyrics and with no shortage of personality. He arrived as a pop disruptor with the 2018 breakout “Just Friends,” gathering tens of millions of streams in the process. He continued to progress from Mind Games [2021] to the critically acclaimed BOY [2023]. Huffington Post hailed the latter as “an introspective listen that doesn’t skimp on sonic joy,” and Rolling Stone applauded its lead single “Story of a Boy” as “a welcome twist with lyrics that speak to JORDY’s all-too-relatable experience as a queer person coming of age.” Meanwhile, JORDY not only shined on stage at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Firefly, OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride, and Bottle Rock, but he also ignited television on TODAY, GMA, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. And during his ascent, his diaristic, authentic voice earned him nominations at the GLAAD Media Awards (Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist), the iHeartRadio Music Awards (Social Star), and the Queerty Awards (Favorite Music Video [“i get high”] + Best Anthem [“Story of a Boy”]).
JORDY’s third album, SEX WITH MYSELF (2024), ushered in a bold, hyperpop-inspired era - encouraging listeners to live more freely and embrace self-love without hesitation. This chapter also saw him take the stage at major Pride festivals in Boston and New York City. Currently, he’s back in the studio working on his fourth full-length project, with more news coming soon.
