Kelle Rozell

Named one of Forbes' 50 Most Entrepreneurial CMOs in 2022, Kelle Rozell has turned more than two decades of marketing experience into a new way of thinking about narrative and Corporate Countability.

Throughout her career, she has established herself as a seasoned marketer and storyteller, creating award-winning campaigns for companies such as ABC News, A&E TV, truTV (Turner Broadcasting), and VICELAND (Vice Media).

In the aftermath of George Floyd's murder, Kelle launched the Black Dollar Index (BDI) and Black Dollar Initiative (C3), which began as a Black consumer platform holding corporations accountable for their pledges to Black America by scoring their efforts across critical factors. BDI was born out of a personal commitment to create a more equitable relationship between corporations and Black communities.

Kelle also served as Chief Marketing & Storytelling Officer at the racial justice organization Color Of Change, where she built narrative power for racial justice, created tools to hold corporations accountable, and elevated Black voices and communities.

Today, Kelle has expanded the BDI ecosystem into a Black equity intelligence platform — tracking, measuring, and analyzing the impact of thousands of corporate actions on Black economic life. BDI pairs proprietary research with editorial storytelling to provide Black corporate stakeholders with equity scorecards, data tools, and a daily intelligence feed.

Kelle is a Cleveland native turned long-time New York resident, who lives in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. When Kelle is not working, she enjoys connecting with her family and friends, listening to a good R&B playlist, and playing golf.
