Pynk Beard

The son of a Southern preacher, PYNK BEARD—formerly known as Sebastian Kole—was raised on soul, gospel, and country music. A seasoned vocalist, award-winning songwriter, and powerful storyteller, he has built a career rooted in emotional honesty, musicality, and an unmistakable point of view.

As a songwriter, Kole’s work has appeared on six Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated projects, including a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Song for “Angel,” performed by Halle Bailey. He has penned Billboard No. 1 hits for Alessia Cara, including “Scars to Your Beautiful” and “Here,” and written standout songs for Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, and many others. Now stepping fully into his own spotlight, Kole introduces PYNK BEARD—a bold new artistic identity rooted in country music, with a sound and perspective uniquely his own.

In 2025, he released his debut country EP, Red Dirt Diaries, a five-song introduction to his Alabama-bred storytelling and genre-blending sound. The project marked a new chapter defined by authenticity, individuality, and limitless sonic exploration. He concluded the year by performing “Sip” on a popular segment of CNN’s New Year’s Eve global broadcast.

Now signed to Anzie Blue Records, one of PYNK BEARD’s latest single, “Ice on the Road,” serves as an urgent call for compassion amid the national grief and unrest surrounding ICE raids. Forbes called the track a “stirring anthem,” while Billboard praised it as “one of his most powerful moments of vulnerable, influential art.” The song has amassed more than four million views across social media and sparked reactions online from artists including SZA, Queen Latifah, Brandy, and Lauren Jauregui.

In 2026, Kole earned an Emmy nomination for his work as the writer of “The Devil You Know,” featured in the Amazon Prime Video series Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage. Following his performance at FIFA Fan Festival in Dallas, Pynk Beard was invited to perform at the official FIFA House in New York City during World Cup weekend. Most recently, PYNK BEARD made his debut on America’s Got Talent, introducing a national audience to his talent not only as an award-winning songwriter, but as a commanding frontman and performer. Following his appearance, his song “Mine Lord Willing” immediately climbed to No. 5 on the Apple Music Country chart and No. 1 on their Country Music Videos Chart, marking a major milestone in the artist’s rapidly expanding career. “Mine Lord Willing” was subsequently featured in the Season 2 premiere of “Ransom Canyon,” Netflix’s top Western show. Pynk Beard will perform on the Main Stage during Opening Weekend at the State Fair of Texas, the largest attended state fair in the country.

Through PYNK BEARD, Kole brings his complete artistry forward, offering a multidimensional perspective on Southern life while helping expand the idea of who country music is for and who gets to be part of its future. His mission is simple: to make country music feel more inclusive, more expansive, and accessible to everyone.

With new music, performances, and a rapidly expanding audience ahead, PYNK BEARD is entering a defining new chapter—one built on authenticity, individuality, and the freedom to be entirely himself.
