An internationally recognized fitness pioneer, Shannon Nadj is the founder of the Hot Pilates brand. She developed a signature method which blends various techniques to democratize and enliven the traditional form.

Her Pilates journey began when she stepped into Mari Winsor’s Pilates Mat class at Equinox on Sunset Blvd in 2006. Mari saw Shannon’s passion, natural intuitiveness, and immediately took her under her wing. Mari frequently featured Shannon in her popular range of Pilates videos. Under Mari’s guidance Shannon joined the Romana’s True Pilates Teacher Training Program. Shannon had the privilege to learn and complete the program under Sari Mejia Santo (Romana Kryzanowska’s daughter) in New York at Joseph Pilates’ original studio.

Upon returning to LA, Shannon’s vision for Hot Pilates began to evolve. She loved the results from her daily Pilates routine and felt there was an opportunity to intensify her results by combining her 3 favorite elements of fitness - Pilates, music and heat! Thus Hot Pilates was born!

The studio opened in October 2014 in the heart of West Hollywood in Sunset Plaza as LA’s first dedicated heated Pilates studio. All classes are heated to a steamy 95 degrees and take place on the mat.
